Gretel’s story jumps back and forth between her life in present day London at 91 years old and her as a 12 year old in Nazi Germany and then post-war in Paris.
Monster Cookies inspired by the sci-fi book Of Monsters and Mainframes by Barbara Truelove. Recipe and review.

This sequel to the Crescent Moon Tearoom gives witchy spooky season vibes but is set in the holiday season without being overtly Christmas-ey, it is IMO, the perfect transition from Halloween month to the holidays.
